The Department of Sociology at the University of California, Santa Cruz is pleased to announce new Department Programs Coordinator, Leah Hanson!
Leah joins us with a wealth of campus experience from her positions as the assistant to the senior director of development and then as manager of the Mary Porter Sesnon gallery, both in the Arts Division. Leah is a painter and holds an MFA and BFA from California College of the Arts in Oakland.
Leah will provide much needed academic and administrative support to the department especially for the undergraduate program including:
- Scheduling undergraduate and graduate courses
- DRC accommodations
- Course approvals and revisions
- Course roster assistance
- Online evaluations
- Undergraduate records maintenance
- Managing social networks
- Overseeing the undergraduate section of the website
- Development and alumni outreach
